Mircea Restea is a freelance photojournalist and
documentary photographer based in Baia Mare, Romania, particularly interested in social issues and portraiture.
From 2000 to 2010, he worked as a staff photographer for several Romanian newspapers. In 2010 he became freelancer, since then working with DoR (Romanian quarterly magazine), Scoala 9 (Romanian magazine), Romania Libera (Romanian National Daily Newspaper), Marie Claire Romania, Femeia (Romanian monthly magazine), Men's Health Romania, Reader's Digest.
